Hi Travellers, so very sorry it has taken me soo long to update the site. I've been busy.

On Monday 1st Dec we didn't have our usual meeting at the library, we decided to go to the Coffee Club for an Xmas lunch and final get together for the year. There were about 15 of us attending and enjoyed one anothers company. I printed some jokes which fell flat as two of them didn't have endings. Oh dear. I should have read through them first. As Ned Kelly said, "That's life".

Here are are a few shots of our group having fun.

Thanks every one who came to the get together.

I hope you all have a wonderful Xmas break away, keep safe until we meet again in 2015.Regards Sheila

 Hi Travellers,

Mondays meeting was great with 24 people turning up to hear Mark from Trekabout talk about two of his wonderful trips. One was in Africa where he showed us sand dunes and wild animals. Then Mark talked about his trip to USA and the different canyons there.

Some of Marks equipment, for his profession.

You can find Mark at his blog   http://www.trekaboutphotography.com/

Hi Travellers,
today's meeting was attended by 18 wonderful people.

We saw Kevin's photos of his trip to Japan.  Kevin and his traveling companions did lots of walking, visiting different Temples while they were there.

After we heard about Diane's visit to the Kimberly's. She showed us some of her great still photos mixed with a few one minute videos which hubby Bill produced.

A great morning  was had by all.

Today's Travel Group Meeting

Hi Everyone,

Desley started off today's meeting with a slideshow of her trip through USA National Parks.

We had some spare time, so Michael presented a slideshow of photos captured by a group of professional photographers who were travelling through China.

Both were excellent presentations. Next time, Sheila will be back from her travels.

Until then,

Cheers and have fun.

Next Meeting Monday 15 September - 11.00AM at the Library

In Sheila's absence, Michael will be looking after the meeting. We have a very interesting topic on the program. Desley will talk to us about her trip. Desley travelled in May on a two week  Globus Tour through some of the National Parks of America. The tour started in Las Vegas. They saw some incredible scenery, including canyons, geysers, hot springs, snow, many different animals and had the pleasure of meeting some Navajo people on their reservation.

Mt Rushmore National Memorial - South Dakota
Grand Teton National Park - Wyoming

Bryce Canyon - Utah

Having visited most of the parks ourselves, I can assure you we'll see some stunning views of Desley's trip.

SEE TOU THERE

Sunday 31 August 2014

Hi Travellers,
wow what a great meeting we had today, what a shame if you missed it. First we started with Bev talking about her trip to Africa and all the wonderful photos she had of the different animals and one woman hanging out her washing, we can't get away from that where ever we live.

After our break Chris talked about his solo Rio trip. Showing us lots of ladies on the beach with their thong bikinis. I note you did see some chaps too. Other wonderful places apart from the beach. Made us feel like we wanted to go there.

Thanks to both of you, great meeting.
