Hi Travellers,

our next meeting is on 4th July.

We were to have a guest speaker, as things turned out I had asked the said lady to visit us at our last meeting. She was so impressed by our friendly group that she is now one of us. Welcome Chris.

Hence Chris Thompson will talk about her trip to Antarctica. Chris wrote, I thought I would do the talk about the different boats, what to expect, the areas I covered and what was included, then break for a cup of tea and then show a video.

Sounds like another interesting meeting.

we had a great turn out for the first meeting of the new term.

 Desley started the meeting off with her talk and photos of her exciting 5 day visit to Los Vegas

After a short break, Peter talked about his trip to Western Australia. For those interested Peter was asked the name of his travel agent that shopper docket uses.

              I hope you all had a nice break, we are to start term three on Monday 21st July.

                  We have two new members joining our group, I hope you all make them feel very welcome.

   Desley Forknall, said that she had 5 days in Las Vegas in May this year. and during this time she still didn't see in side all then many hotels  and attractions.

 While warming up with a cuppa and chatting with friends, we were in awe of

 extraordinaire photographer John Rogers photos he has put in a photo book.

Hi Travellers,

 it was great to see such a wonderful turn out for Mondays meeting.

We gathered at Logan North Library to see Kevin Woodward's photos and listen to one of Kevins walking partners, Sybil Dwyer talk about their Kokoda track walk. We were told that Sybil is the oldest woman to walk the track. Congratulations Sybil, we were proud to welcome you to our Travellers Group.

We enjoyed looking at and listening to Ken Wilson's informative talk about his camping sightseeing trip around Tasmania with his wife in their van. Many questions were asked about camping sites.

                              Thanks guys and gal. We might be seniors but we're not out YET.
