Hi Travellers,
today's meeting was attended by 18 wonderful people.

We saw Kevin's photos of his trip to Japan.  Kevin and his traveling companions did lots of walking, visiting different Temples while they were there.

After we heard about Diane's visit to the Kimberly's. She showed us some of her great still photos mixed with a few one minute videos which hubby Bill produced.

A great morning  was had by all.

Hi Travellers, it was wonderful to see so many people at the first meeting of the term, and welcome to our new members, Don, Carol and Angela.
First was Kaye with her talk of her visit to London and around Europe.

Michael then gave an informative and historic talk about his trip on Saipan and Tinian Islands. America used Tinian Island to store and load their Atomic bombs during WW2

Kaye has sent a map of the bus tour on which she went.

Also one of the sight she saw, which I'm sure Kaye will tell us all about it.

After catching up with one another, Michael will talk and show us photos of his trip.
The topic is to be Saipan and Tinian islands of the US,the American use Tinian island to store and

Today's Travel Group Meeting

Hi Everyone,

Desley started off today's meeting with a slideshow of her trip through USA National Parks.

We had some spare time, so Michael presented a slideshow of photos captured by a group of professional photographers who were travelling through China.

Both were excellent presentations. Next time, Sheila will be back from her travels.

Until then,

Cheers and have fun.

Next Meeting Monday 15 September - 11.00AM at the Library

In Sheila's absence, Michael will be looking after the meeting. We have a very interesting topic on the program. Desley will talk to us about her trip. Desley travelled in May on a two week  Globus Tour through some of the National Parks of America. The tour started in Las Vegas. They saw some incredible scenery, including canyons, geysers, hot springs, snow, many different animals and had the pleasure of meeting some Navajo people on their reservation.

Mt Rushmore National Memorial - South Dakota
Grand Teton National Park - Wyoming

Bryce Canyon - Utah

Having visited most of the parks ourselves, I can assure you we'll see some stunning views of Desley's trip.
