Hi Travellers,
it appeared that many of you are travelling as we had a small turn out last Monday. None the less we had two ladies that gave us informative talks on their trips away. Deidre spoke about her visit to Italy, Denise spoke about Hawaii.

Bill Bohlen has asked for people to let him know if they would like a badge, rather than the paper things we have now. I'm in full approval of this idea. They will cost $8 each. At the present time he is just asking for your notification if you would like one. I have put a picture below. Lets get behind this idea.

That was our last meeting of term one. We begin again om May 5th. Enjoy you holiday break, see you next term.

Today's Meeting

We had a very exciting meeting this morning with three excellent speakers.

We started off with Desley, who told us all about their trip to the Eastern Capitals of Canada and their cruise from Montreal to Boston and New York.

Desley showed us photos of her trip
Montgomery Falls outside Montreal
A very familiar New York Landmark
Then Denies took us on a very emotional tour of the First World War Battlefields of France.

One of the cemeteries for fallen soldiers on French soil
Australians are well regarded in France

And finally Will Landman talked to us about one of their fishing trips, with his son, to New Zealand.

Will told us about a fishing trip to NZ.
Will is grappling with one of the fish he caught
Will's son caught this little beauty
I hate to tell you, but apparently they let them all go. What a waste, ha ha.

As I said, a very interesting morning.
